Vintage Trifari Alfred Phillipe Simulated Pearl Rhinestone Necklace: 1954 Design

This necklace/choker I have had for some time, and I really never looked at it to hard I am glad I did. I realized that it was a very vintage Alfred Phillippe for Trifari 1954 it was finally patented it is marked Trifari patten pending so it goes back the year I have stated, it is made with simulated pearls and clear diamante' rhinestones, adjustable chain with hook closure, about 15" long and like I said adjustable, I have not cleaned it in any way which it could use to bring back its sparkle. These pieces are getting really hard to find in this saturated jewelry market and if you are a collector of Trifari or just love them like I do they are highly sought after. Design #172,553

~ Trifari was established in 1925 and sold to a lot of Hollywood stars which made them very popular and increased the costume jewelry interest when prices went down during World War two. When Phillipe after working with Van Cleef and Arpels joined Trifari, he brought his vision and designs and changed Trifari forever and most women owned a few pieces. His older pieces are unique and have high value.
