I have had this piece for over 40 years and have worn it very proudly knowing it was a vintage Miriam Haskell piece. This is a hard find on the internet, found similar pieces but not this one. Miriam Haskell and Frank Hess started producing during WW11 when jewelry had to be produced from materials that were not used for the war, that is when they used a wire backing and did not stamp their pieces. Miriam Haskell had her own proprietary gold toned metal and often brass that she used. She designed affordable pieces from 1920 to 1960's and her work in the jewelry business is very collectable. This piece is not signed but it was not done during the 20-40's. There are a lot of fake not signed pieces out there so be aware.

This piece is 3 " wide by 3" in length, hand wired, old roll over clasp, bead caped, layered bead brooch. If you are a collector, check it out I have done a lot of research and have found nothing on this great piece. Just one thing to say also if a seller doesn't show you the back of an item beware because that is where all the information is, I see it all the time!
