Vintage Cathe Brooch and Earrings Set: Opalescent Rhinestones, Aurora Borealis Accents

This is the WOW Cathe' set of the three sets that I have now posted. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful crystals and the aurora borealis accents on this set. The large cabochon stone and the numerous faceted navette pronged stones are beautiful. The stones are textured and have an aurora borealis finish on them for major BLING! This large brooch is 3 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide, silver toned metal, functioning clasp and all stones are clear and present. The clip-on earrings are 1 1/2" long and clips are in great shape. Cathe' is now getting hard to find and becoming very collectable in the costume jewelry world. Great find for the vintage jewelry wearer or gift for anyone who loves a splash of fancy!! The earrings can be made into pierced post earrings very easily.

~ Cache' was in business from 1961 until 1984 (23 years). Started from Torrence California and did home parties like Sarah Coventry and Cookie Lee. Cache' did higher end costume jewelry with expensive art glass, rhinestones, pearls and unusual at the time color combos. Cache' is mentioned in many jewelry reference books and is very collectable.
