Vintage Art Deco Brooch, Sterling Silver and Purple Amethyst Stone.

I love this brooch it is so beautiful now I had to use a silver cloth on it to remove all of the tarnish on it (which I usually do not do). I had to do it to try to figure its history, tested for silver, small bezel set purple faceted amethyst, leaves and a floral motif, 1 1/2" diameter, and a C closure which has me baffled about the age, I am guessing the 40's? Add a silver chain and have a statement necklace, add it to a lapel, hat, purse I could go on and on about uses of brooches. Great gift also for those wonderful purple people.
