Vintage 1966 Grosse Dior Leaf Necklace, Designer Piece.

Vintage 1966 Grosse Signed Leaf Necklace. It has the Grosse crown and date on the back, he signed every piece. It has gold plating, which is in very good condition, 1 1/2 inches, 20-inch rope chain with a secure clasp. Grosse, Henkel and Dior produced four collections a year for the Paris Based House. Grosse was a very long time Senior Designer at the House of Dior. This has the Minimalist Style that Dior liked because it didn't overshadow the clothing. I haven't seen this one out there, just know that it is a Vintage Collector Piece.

~Grosse and Henkle operated from Pforzheim Germany from 1907 to 2006 and was a four generational operation. They were famous for making jewelry for Christian Dior and held a 50-year contract to produce four collection's a year beginning in 1954.
