Vintage 1950's Reinad Retro Chain Link Bracelet, Hard to Find.

I had heard of Reinad because he was known in early jewelry making in NYC. Harry Reinstein started out in the 20's-50's, and he was rather controversial with other designers including the House of Chanel when he added Chanel to some of his pieces with Reinad and Chanel on them, her pieces were not patented at the time, things were different in those days. He was known to copy other designers work including Boucher, Hattie Carnegie, Mazer, Coro, DeRosa (Juliana) and others for less prices than they were selling their pieces for. He was very successful thou and his pieces are very hard to find. This bracelet is marked Reinad on the fold over clasp, 7" long, made with a rhodium silver finish and a very modern style for the time. These are very rare and hard to find since he really wasn't in business that long, 30 years. Great Gift also, do your research very interesting history on the jewelry industry back in the days!
