Vintage 1940's Italian Cannetille Silver Flower Hand Crafted Brooch.

These are still beautiful after all these years they have been around. This one has a lot of original Patina; I had to do some cleaning to read the markings (which I really don't do patina shows age). This is a 1940's era Italian Cannetille silver lace large 3D flower brooch, 2 1/2" by 2 1/2", old school clasp which is totally functional, pistil center, handmade, 935 marks along with NT which is the maker's mark, I would add a jump ring loop to make it a pendant also. There are a lot of so called vintage Cannetille pieces out there do your research, found a lot of not vintage pieces. A lot of countries have done this type of jewelry, but it originated in Italy and Portugal. Great gift for the vintage jewelry lover!!
